PUBLIC REPOSITORY / BRIEF
open.comingsoon.template
I use a coming-soon template to connect a project announcement with public repository activity. The idea is to give visitors something concrete to follow before a launch.
A useful page before launch
The GitHub description names public repository activity tracking as a feature.
The announcement should stay useful even when the activity feed is unavailable.
The engineering tradeoff is freshness versus API dependency: a cached update can be more useful than an empty page.
